Site Compliance

The compliance view gives you a quick overview of how well a site is meeting its inspection and maintenance obligations.

Reading the compliance view

The compliance view for a site shows:

  • Check completion rate — the percentage of scheduled checks that have been completed on time
  • Overdue checks — checks that are past their due date and haven't been completed
  • Open defects — defects that haven't yet been resolved
  • Document status — how many documents are valid, expiring soon, or expired

What the numbers mean

Check compliance

Check compliance is calculated based on scheduled checks for all assets at the site over the last 90 days. Pre-use checks are excluded from the compliance score since they do not have scheduled due dates.

  • Completed on time — checks finished before or on their due date
  • Overdue — checks that are past due and still outstanding
  • Missed — checks that were never completed within their allowed window

A high compliance percentage means inspections are being carried out on schedule.

The sites list also shows a compliance status badge for each site:

  • Compliant (green) — 90% or higher on-time completion
  • At Risk (yellow) — between 70% and 89%
  • Non Compliant (red) — below 70%

Defect status

The defect breakdown shows:

  • Open — newly reported, not yet being worked on
  • In Progress — assigned and being resolved
  • Awaiting Parts — repair paused while waiting for materials
  • Awaiting Verification — repair completed, waiting for sign-off

Document expiry

Documents attached to assets at the site are monitored for expiry:

  • Valid — expiry date is more than 30 days away (or no expiry date)
  • Expiring soon — within 30 days of expiry
  • Expired — past the expiry date

WARNING

Expired certificates may affect your compliance obligations. Review expired documents regularly and arrange renewals in advance.

Using compliance data

Use the compliance view to:

  • Identify sites that need attention before an audit
  • Spot patterns — if one site consistently has low compliance, investigate whether staffing, training, or workload is the issue
  • Prioritise which overdue checks or open defects to address first
