Dashboard
The dashboard is your at-a-glance overview of what's happening across your organisation. It surfaces the most important metrics and actions so you can quickly identify what needs attention.
Dashboard cards
The dashboard displays key metrics as cards:
Checks
- Scheduled checks — how many checks are coming up
- Overdue checks — checks past their due date that haven't been completed
- Checks completed today — today's activity
Defects
- Open defects — newly reported problems not yet being worked on
- In Progress defects — defects currently being repaired
- Awaiting Verification — repairs submitted and waiting for manager sign-off
Assets
- Total assets — across all sites
- Out of Service — assets currently taken out of service
Compliance
- Check compliance rate — percentage of checks completed on time
- Expiring documents — documents approaching their expiry date
Quick actions
From the dashboard you can quickly:
- View and act on overdue checks
- Open defects that need assignment
- See which defects are awaiting your verification
- Navigate to assets that are out of service
Role-based views
The dashboard content adjusts based on your role:
- Owners and H&S Admins see organisation-wide metrics
- Site Managers see metrics for their assigned site
- Operators and Supervisors see their personal work items (assigned checks, reported defects)
- Contractors see the contractor dashboard instead, focused on their assigned defects
Using the dashboard effectively
- Check daily — make the dashboard your first stop each morning to catch overdue items
- Focus on red items — overdue checks, critical defects, and out-of-service assets need immediate attention
- Monitor trends — if overdue counts are increasing, investigate the root cause (staffing, workload, training)
